Second Annual Benefit Raises Over $150,000 to Support CAC Services Photo

On October 5, 2016, over 250 partners and friends joined the Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County’s Board of Trustees and Host Committee for their second Annual Benefit. The evening recognized the resilience of the remarkable children that the CAC sees every day and honored three exemplary community leaders in the fight against child abuse: Lt. Governor Karyn Polito; Superintendent-in-Chief William G. Gross of the Boston Police Department; and philanthropist Bruce Percelay, Chairman of the Mount Vernon Company.

Held at Atlantic Wharf, the Benefit included donated chef’s stations from The Maiden, Serafina Boston, and Island Creek Oyster Co. Together with Champion Sponsors John Moriarty & Associates, the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation, the Mount Vernon Company, New Boston Strategies, Torrington Properties, and Veolia North America, supporters raised over $150,000 to sustain and expand the CAC’s services.
