Originally from Colombia, Catalina Perez is a Bilingual and Bicultural clinician who provides leadership and supervision of the CAC's mental health program, as well as outreach, support and psychoeducation to families and providers when a CAC referral has been made. Catalina offers consultation during the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), as well as the Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI) and Problematic Sexual Behavior-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT).
Prior to coming to the Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County (CAC) in 2015, Catalina worked as an Intensive Care Coordinator at the Justice Resource Institute’s Dimock Community Service Agency. Catalina has experience working with the Latino community in different capacities.
Catalina holds a Master’s in Social Work from Simmons College and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Massachusetts.
Outside of the CAC, Catalina enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
