Gladys is the bilingual (Spanish/English) Family Resource Specialist. As the Family Resource Specialist, she develops and shares resources in addition to providing consultation to advocates. She works on building ongoing relationships with community agencies by exploring ways of partnering and sharing information. Gladys also overlooks a survey system adopted by the National Children Alliance that allows centers like the CAC to manage and organize survey data, ensuring essential feedback from families and team members through confidentiality.

Gladys is also the Suffolk County Child Fatality Review Co-Lead and Coordinator. She works on conducting individual reviews of child fatalities that aim to understand the circumstances and causes of child deaths with a focus on prevention.

Gladys holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Salem State University. She is a passionate advocate with a background in mental and behavioral health with a focus on childhood trauma.  

In her free time, Gladys enjoys spending time with her loved ones.
