Yecelin is the Bilingual (Spanish) Clinical Case Manager at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County (CAC). She provides support, referrals, counseling, and mental health resources for children and families. With over a decade of experience with non-profit organizations and a BA in Law and Public affairs and a minor in Criminal Justice and Political Science, Yecelin has dedicated her career to serve the immigrant community, primarily the Latino community. She has worked with diverse organizations in counseling, outreach, and creative direction.

In her various roles at Centro Cristiano Emanuel, she was able to build strong relationships within the Latino community, providing compassionate and confidential support to families facing numerous challenges. She also oversaw seven of their campuses, successfully implementing the organization’s mission and values across all locations. In her role as Creative Director, she developed programs, events marketing strategies and created safe spaces for youth to engage with and serve the community through their talents. These team efforts completely shifted the culture of the organization and created a vibrant community.
