Emily is a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Coordinator/Forensic Interviewer at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County. Prior to joining the CAC, Emily worked with the Department of Children and Families as an ongoing social worker and focused on supporting families to achieve safety and stability.
Emily received a B.A. in Cross Cultural Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a Master’s in Social Work from Salem State University’s School of Social Work. While in graduate school, Emily completed two clinical internships at DCF and in schools, where she provided individual and group support to youth. Before graduate school, she worked at Big Sister Association in a variety of roles, including match support specialist and manager in the community and school-based program. While performing these roles, Emily managed the assessment process for mentor and mentees, and facilitated gender specific groups.
In her free time, Emily enjoys nature walks, reading, arts and crafts with her little sister, spending time with her cats, and cooking.
