Karen is a graduate student at the Simmons University School of Social Work. At the CAC she supports the mental health team in their work providing mental health services to children and families. Karen assists the team with intakes for children and families that are recommended for the Problematic Sexual Behavior - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy program as well as providing support and psycho-education to families that have been referred to the CAC.

Karen has worked extensively over the past few years with the Department of Children and Families as a master's level intern with the PATCH team, and as a Foster Parent Resource Liaison, MAPP trainer and foster parent. As a lifelong Boston resident Karen is passionate about working with children and families in her community. 

In her free time Karen enjoys reading and spending time with her kids.
