The Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County (CAC) is proud to be one of 150 local nonprofits selected to receive multi-year grants totaling between $30,000 and $1,000,000 each through Cummings Foundation’s $30 Million Grant Program. The CAC is one of just 25 organizations chosen to receive 10 years of funding during the competitive review process.
The Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County (CAC) is pleased to announce that we have received Mass General Brigham Community Health Impact Funds to support the growth and enhancement of its Training and Outreach Program. This necessary funding will ensure the CAC’s capacity to engage and educate the Suffolk County community, strengthen its ability to identify child victims, and ensure equitable access to the CAC’s specialized services.
On Thursday, October 17 nearly 400 sponsors, partners, and friends joined forces to advocate on behalf of children and families who are victims of violence, exploitation, and abuse and raised a total of more than $674,000!
Act to Prevent Abuse and Exploitation establishes and extends numerous safeguards for survivors and also emphasizes and encourages the need for age-appropriate internet safety training throughout all stages of youth.
On Thursday, October 12 nearly 400 sponsors, hosts, and friends joined forces to advocate on behalf of children and families who are victims of violence, exploitation, and abuse and raised a record-breaking total of more than $750,000!
The Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County, and our law enforcement partners in Boston, Chelsea, Revere and Winthrop support youth who experience online exploitation.
As of August, the CAC's SEEN has already received as many referrals as they did in all of 2022 – an all-time high.
Annie Marcklinger Gordon has joined the CAC as Executive Director. The appointment of Marcklinger Gordon to Executive Director follows Susan Goldfarb’s 30-year tenure with the CAC.
